Electrical load studies & demand monitoring

Measure first.
Make the right investment.

Before investing in an expensive electrical service upgrade, Re-Gen Electrical can monitor your facility’s actual electrical demand. Our temporary monitoring equipment records electrical usage and operating conditions over time, helping identify peak demand, available capacity, voltage concerns, phase imbalance and other potential issues.

72-hour & extended monitoring

We discuss the operating schedule, equipment and purpose of the study to choose a useful monitoring period.

  • Identify peak demand and operating patterns
  • Evaluate existing demand before adding equipment
  • Investigate voltage concerns and phase imbalance
  • Inform planning for EV chargers, HVAC, machinery, generators, solar and batteries

Monitoring duration depends on the project. A 72-hour recording does not replace a longer study or other records when those are required.
